Refund & Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Dear Subscriber,

Thank you for choosing Law Universe. We value the trust you have placed in us and strive to provide the best services possible. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds for products and services offered by Law Universe ("we", "our", "us"). By purchasing our products or services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following refund terms.

Refund & Cancellation Terms

1. Eligibility for Refund

1. If you wish to cancel your subscription and/or return a product, you must submit your cancellation request in writing to cancellations@lawuniverse.co.in.
2. You will be eligible for a full refund if the cancellation request is made within 14 days of the Delivery Date, Activation Date, or Orientation Date (as specified in the annexure).
3. No refunds will be provided for device fees (if applicable) and study material fees as stated in the invoice.

2. Non-Eligibility for Refund

1. No refunds will be granted if the cancellation request is submitted after 14 days from the Delivery Date, Activation Date, or Orientation Date (as specified in the annexure).
2. If your access or subscription to the product is canceled due to a breach of the Terms of Use, no refunds will be issued. The decision of Law Universe will be final and binding in this regard.

3. Force Majeure

1. In the event of a force majeure (such as acts of God, government restrictions, or other events beyond our control) that requires discontinuation of a product you have already availed of, no refunds will be provided for the portion of the service already availed. Law Universe is also not liable to provide any additional services in lieu of the discontinued service.

4. Other Refund & Cancellation Policies

1. This refund policy applies specifically to the products and services mentioned in Annexure I. Refunds for other products/services offered by Law Universe will be governed by their respective refund policies/terms of use.

5. Mode of Refund

1. All applicable refunds will be processed through an online transfer in Indian Rupees to the original payment source.
2. Refunds will be processed within 28 days from the date of written confirmation of the cancellation approval.
3. The refund amount will not exceed the amount paid for the purchase. If you availed a credit/financing facility for the purchase, refunds will be processed accordingly with the lender/financing partner.

6. Inactive Payment Instruments

1. If the original payment instrument/account is inactive or does not support refunds, you must provide other bank account details for processing the refund.
2. Law Universe will not be responsible for crediting refunds to the wrong account due to incorrect details furnished by you. You may be required to furnish a declaration for transferring the refund to another bank account.

7. Non-Receipt of Refunds

1. If you have not received your refund within the specified period, please contact us at cancellations@lawuniverse.co.in.

8. Service Cancellation and GST Credit Notes

1. Upon cancellation of services, the unutilized portion of the services will be considered as not performed, and a GST credit note will be issued.
2. If the cancellation request is beyond the prescribed timelines, a commercial credit note may be issued upon your request, subject to applicable laws.

9. Policy Modifications

1. Law Universe reserves the right to modify or replace this refund & Cancellation policy at any time without prior notice.

10. Acknowledgment

1. By purchasing our products or services, you confirm and acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms outlined in this document.

ANNEXURE I

Short-term courses of 90 days or fewer are not eligible for refunds under this policy.
